The ideal candidate will help determine financial strategy and policy, arranging the appropriate funding and managing financial risks in the organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare budget and financial forecasts
• Conduct month-end and year-end close process
• Collect, analyze and summarize account information
• Develop periodic reports for management
• Audit financial transactions and document accounting control procedures
• Banking money and cheques received and issuing receipts or invoices as requested or needed;
• Processing credit card payments received;
• Maintaining and transferring money between bank accounts as required;
• Payment of invoices and fees as required or otherwise instructed;
• Manage payroll and business units.
• Keep up with financial policies, regulation and legislation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2 years related experience preferred
• Hands-on experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Proficient with ERP systems, including Microsoft Office
• Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
• CPA or CMA preferred
